Childcare East Midland's Nurseries was established by Susan & John Mills in January 1993, who were at that time expecting their first child.

There seemed to be a lack of high quality childcare offering: - A friendly, warm and caring environment with professional staff fostering high standards of care and education along with good practices in safety and cleanliness, hence Cherubs Executive House opened based on that criteria.

Since opening we have continued to grow, the original 40 place nursery is now registered for 80 children based on St. Albans Road, Bulwell, along with our second nursery registered for 82 children which opened in 1996.  In January 2000, Robert Everist joined forces with Susan Mills and Childcare East Midlands was formed, the following sites have been added to the group over the past 8 years.

2000 -  Mansfield Preparatory School & Day Nursery, which merged with Saville House School in 2004

2001 -  Longdale Nursery School and Children's Centre

2003 -  Cherubs Day Nursery Kimberley

2003 -  Cherubs Day Nursery Newark

2004 -  Saville House School

2006 -  Cherubs Children's Centre, Wynndale Drive, Mansfield

2007 -  Cherubs Children's Centre, Pleasely Landmark, Pleasley

The Company has continued to grow but our high standards of care and education remain, we are particularly proud our sites have been graded outstanding in many areas of the nursery and our Ravenshead site which has been awarded "outstanding" in every area of care and education by Ofsted.  There is only one other nursery in Nottinghamshire and one of a handful in the Country to achive outstanding in every area, this demonstrates our deication and commitment to providing the very best care for each and every child.

The nurseries provide a warm, friendly and stimulating environment where all children are encouraged to develop to their full potential. Activities are diverse and interesting and the children explore and experiment supported by professional qualified staff.

A commitment to quality has always been out highest priority and we are proud to be acknowledged as leaders in the field.

Once you have made the decision to leave your child at one of our nurseries,Girls you can be sure that they will be in a safe, loving, caring environment with people who love looking after and teaching children. There is a high ratio of staff to children and the nurseries are run by a manager and assistant manager. We are licensed and regularly inspected by Ofsted who enforce the high standards set by the Government so we can take your 6 week old baby right through to the first school term.

All our staff are trained to NNEB or equivalent and we have onsite trainees that are working towards N.V.Q. level 3. We run our own unique training programme to ensure that our staff are trained to the highest possible standards. All the staff have been security and medically cleared by the appropriate authorities.

Explore our website and find out what we can offer. We will then be pleased to show you the facilities and discuss how we can provide the highest quality care and early years education for your child.
